Thank you for choosing Defender and welcome

remember the number of cameras and accessories will depend on the set purchased:
7” monitor Cameras
One Monitor power cord Camera power adapters
Mounting Hardware A pairing tool
Camera Antennas SD card Once the box is open, remove all extra packaging
such as bags or twist ties and lay the components out on a clear surface such as a table. Plug the power cord labeled for the monitor
into the DC port on back of the monitor. Plug the other side of the power cord
into a power outlet. Press and hold the power button on the
top right of the monitor to turn the monitor on. Plug the power cord labeled for Camera
into the camera power lead. Plug the other side of the power cord
into a power outlet. Attach the antenna to the back of the

the Micro SD card should be inserted into the adapter before inserting the adapter into
the SD slot on the monitor. To access and navigate the menu, you will
use the Joystick on the right side of the controls. Moving it left, right, up and down will move
your selection in the corresponding direction. Pressing the stick inward until you feel it
click will select the highlighted option. By default, the PhoenixM2 will record using
the Motion setting. To record manually, press the REC button
on the top of the monitor. In the next video in our PhoenixM2 Series,
we will cover advanced recording settings. This concludes our first-time setup tutorial. Thank you for choosing Defender to protect
what you value most.

How is this "wireless". If cameras are outside aren't the wires subject to being cut? This system is exactly what we wanted but now that it turns out to be corded we will have to pass.
