Canon EOS-1D X Mark III Electronic In-Body Stabilization
♪♪♪ Hi I’m Charles Zablan, from
Canon USA, and this is the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III. More than ever before, capturing video has become a necessity for creatives.
And the EOS-1D X Mark III has stronger video features
than any previous Canon EOS digital SLR camera. The 1D X
Mark III improves on its predecessor by giving stable
cinematic footage using Movie Digital IS. It’s electronic
image stabilization, performed digitally at the imaging sensor.
Whether it’s 4K video from the full width of the image sensor,
or from a cropped, central portion, Movie Digital IS
analyzes the micro vibrations often caused by handheld
operation and counteracts that movement digitally. It provides
5-Axis Image Stabilization that will enable steady operation,
often without the use of external gimbals. And the optical Image Stabilization in many Canon EF lenses combines with
the electronic Movie Digital IS, adding yet another measure of steadiness. Movie Digital IS is very effective at reducing the
large, low-frequency, bounding type movements that can occur
when the camera operator is walking or jogging to follow a
subject. This is especially true when its Enhanced setting is active. It’s easily enabled, on the third,
red shooting menu screen. Digital SLRs offer a compact, hand-holdable alternative to large
Cinema cameras for many recording tasks. With its Movie
Digital IS, the EOS-1D X Mark III adds options for steady, high-quality
video in many situations. For more information
